Our History

PAT CIOCI

1932 - 2024

We are sad to report the passing of Cioci's Picture Mart co-founder, Pat Cioci. For thirty years, Pat grew Picture Mart's reputation for quality through word-of-mouth, and built a lasting, loyal clientele. His charisma, charm, and legacy still resonate everyday in this small business. Since Pat retired in 2000, many of you have dropped by over the years to send well-wishes and regards - for which he was always grateful, fondly looking back at all the friendships and memories he made at Cioci's Picture Mart.

54 Years of Excellence at Cioci’s Picture Mart.

Ruth Ann and Pat Cioci opened Picture Mart at the intersection of Manchester Road and Wood Avenue, in 1970.  A loyal clientele quickly grew from Kirkwood and greater St. Louis.  Over the years, the Picture Mart reputation for quality custom picture framing spread through word-of-mouth - making us a favorite among artists, designers, and decorators.

We proudly offer high-quality archival framing materials in a wide variety of styles, and specialize in conservation framing techniques.

Cioci’s Picture Mart (pronounced Cho-Cheese) is a full-service custom picture framing business.  In five decades, we have framed all manner of art and objects, from valuable original artwork, to meaningful mementos. All work is done in our shop by our trained and experienced staff.  Your artwork will never be sent out to another workshop.
